PAST EVENT: We had a table at the Best of Hudson Valley Party at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel on October 15. Along with a terrific representation of Hudson Valley restaurants, shops and services displaying their winning items (we represented Beacon!), we showed two wines - Bruni Morellino di Scansano DOC "Marteto" 2006 and Teatown Cellars Merlot Napa Valley 2005, and conducted a tasting of those wines with our own red wine-braised pork ragu over creamy polenta with parsley vinaigrette.
