Donatello Jasci and his wife Piera represent the third generation in the Jasci family to produce wine in Abruzzo. Now entirely organic, their estates focus on the premier grapes of the region: montepulciano, pecorino, and here trebbiano. Their ‘Atilia’ trebbiano, from two plots of pergola-trained vines, ferments naturally, without malolactic fermentation, and sits on the lees for 2-3 months in stainless steel. Lightly filtered, with minimal sulfur added at bottling, this liter of medium-bodied white pairs beautifully with summer. Floral on the nose and textural on the palate, it extends a lemon curd tang through a long finish. Organically grown, vegan.
