Castlepoint is the name of a lighthouse in Marlborough, New Zealand, and its light shines 20 miles across the sea and was a point of reference for sailors entering Wellington Harbor from South America. The grapes come from the subregions of Awatere Valley and Wairau Valley and they are pressed into stainless steel tanks where the juice undergoes fermentation. Winemaker Andrew Parley makes this sauvignon blanc in a bright and vibrant style with classic character of citrus, stone fruit, and fresh crushed herbs with a racy, refreshing finish.
