Necromancer: Gin, St. Germain, Lemon Juice
Sazerac: classic favorite with Rye or Brisson Cognac, with a little sugar, Peychaud’s Bitters and a lemon twist
Foghorn: Gin, Barrow's Ginger and fresh lime will have you perfectly foggy
Lady Liberty: Dry white wine, Dolin Blanc, grapefruit juice – and a dash of orange flower water, if you have some.
The realm of distilling (or at least its image!) might be dominated by men sporting vast amounts of facial hair, but Delaware Phoenix owner Cheryl Lins has been bucking those stereotypes for quite some time! She’s located in the Catskills town of Walton, NY, and does every step of the process from fermentation to delivery. Cheryl makes three different Absinthe Superieurs, a spirit from France and Switzerland made with anise, grand wormwood, hyssop, lemon balm, and herbs. The ‘Walton Waters’ is her “masculine” absinthe; powerful and herbal in character. There is absolutely nothing added to the product including coloring.
