Christophe Denizot and his sister, Muriel, manage their family estate of approximately 14 hectares of south-facing vineyards in the village of Bissey-sur-Cruchaud, at the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise (south of the Côte de Beaune). The area’s granite and limestone soils lend a particular minerality to Chalonnaise wines, and those of the Domaine des Moirots are no exception. Dedicated to sustainable farming practices since 1993, Christophe and his team hand-harvest all of their grapes and carefully sort them before fermentation. This pinot noir expresses its southern Burgundian climate with concentrated, spicy fruit. Floral and earthy aromas frame ripe red berry flavors and structured tannins, with a beautiful finish. Sustainably grown, vegan.
