Domaine Dupont’s orchards are beautiful and vast, helping them produce extensive line of ciders, Calvados and pommeau. They are one of the top producers in the Pays d’Auge - Normandy’s most well known region for Calvados - and one of the top cider producers in France. This 'cidre bouché' is their most traditional botting and is always vintage-dated; just like wines, ciders exhibit different characteristics with each harvest. Cidermaker Etienne Dupont respects the different growing characteristics for each category of cider apples (bitter, sweet, acidic), so each type is harvest at three different times between October and December to extract as much complexity from the fruit as possible. Indigenous yeast-fermented in stainless steel, this is the benchmark for Normandy ciders: fresh and off-dry, complex and elegant.
