Fabrice Gasnier’s family has farmed vineyards around the village of Chézelet, on the right bank of the river Vienne, since 1902, and they continue to own and manage their 27 hectares themselves. Since taking over the management of the domaine from his father in 1990, Fabrice has moved fully into biodynamic farming practices and devoted the vineyards almost exclusively to cabernet franc. All of their vineyard sites face south and, with very low yields, naturally produce a delicious concentration of flavor. Made from 100% direct-press cabernet franc, this is a very precise rosé sparkler with flourishes of red berries and a refined mineral freshness.
