The Ruet estate has been family owned and operated at the foot of Mont Brouilly since 1926. They have parcels in different appellations in Northern Beaujolais, and are focused on displaying the subtle nuances of each cru’s unique terroir. The Côte de Brouilly is distinguished by higher elevations (like that of Chiroubles) and blue granite soils, which lend an elegance to its wines while still maintaining intensity and concentration. This 100% sustainably-farmed gamay (Certified Sustainable by OCACIA) is vinified half in stainless steel and half in neutral barrel. Deep, woody notes of blueberry, blackcurrant, crushed violets, and gravel meld with gentle tannins. Certified sustainable.
