Weingut Jurtschitsch 'Belle Naturelle' Kamptal DAC Rosé 2021

When Alwin Jurtschitsch and his wife, Stefanie Hasselbach, took over his family’s vineyards, they began converting all the plots to organic farming while working to increase biodiversity. The vines now flourish amid fruit trees and wildflowers. Stefanie oversees the winemaking, which relies on indigenous yeasts and minimal interventions in the cellar. For this ‘Belle Naturelle’ rosé, she blended directly pressed zweigelt and pinot noir with cabernet sauvignon macerated on its skins for color. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Notes of pink flowers with herbal and black tea sit lightly on the palate. Certified organic, low-intervention/natural wine.
