Marc & Adria Perez are two cousins of the same age who grew up on farms and wineries. Currently, they are consultants, co-owners and helpers in projects all over Spain, including El Celler de la Muntanya (Alicante), Amics del Governance (Montsant), CIMS de Porrera (Priorat) and the famous family vineyard Mas Martinet (Priorat). In 2007, they released wines under their own label, aptly named “Les Cousins”, from a nascent winery in their home village of Porrera in Priorat. L’Antagonique is their take on an age-worthy, gastronomic rosé, reminiscent of the legendary Clos Cibonne wines from Provence. This 2017 opens with some deep, savory notes, accented by Mandarin orange peel, herbs, and spice.
