Nomikai is a Japanese word for a “drinking party” with colleagues or friends. The goal of these cans was to create something portably and tasty so the wine could be enjoyed anywhere and especially in the company of friends. It was also in the interest of sustainability, and creator Connor Drexler says, “I grew up going to National Parks so sustainability was always important. Aluminum cans are one of the most sustainable packaging materials available with nearly infinite recyclability and a fraction of the carbon footprint from transportation”. The rosé wine is made with a blend of white grapes and grenache, and its dry, fizzy, and fun!
