Renaud Desbourdes’ parents began the family vineyard in 1965, on a farm outside the village of Panzoult, just south of the Loire. Renaud took over the business in 1999 and now farms their 15 hectares together with his son Boris. They converted to organic farming practices in 2016. This cuvée sees 8 days of maceration, resulting in a juicy, refined expression of cabernet franc. Succulent wild raspberries mingle with hints of green pepper and wildflower petals. On the palate this is light on its feet, finishing with delicate yet definitive tannins. Incredibly versatile, this is delicious paired with a vast variety of foods. Organically grown, vegan.
