Montinore Estate is one of the largest producers of certified biodynamic and organic wines in the country. Located along the east-facing slope of the Coastal Range foothills at the northern end of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, their 200 acre vineyard was planted in 1982, and includes nine grape varietals, all farmed biodynamically. The estate is CCOF Certified Organic and since 2008 has been Demeter Certified Biodynamic. This pinot gris is made from all estate-grown grapes, fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees. Medium-bodied, it offers up elegant layers of white flowers, peach, pear, and Herbes de Provence on a refreshing, textural finish. Fabulous with food, especially seafood or goat cheeses!
