|Vineyard/Cellar Practices||Sustainably Grown, Low-Intervention/Natural Wine, Vegan|
Nardello is helmed by the young brother and sister team, Daniele and Federica Nardello who strive (and succeed) to make wonderfully expressive wines in the Soave region. All of their vines fall within Soave Classico, and is considered the first important growing region, bordered off in 1931 and recognized by Royal decree in 1936, and becoming the first DOC region in Veneto in 1968. Located between two mountains, the soils of Mount Zoppega are full of volcanic layers with some ochre and clay, producing full-bodied, rich wines, while the soils from Mount Tondo have more sandy-lime components, producing more gentle wines with brighter acidity. For all of their wines and vineyards, they have been producing in a low-intervention style since 2005, completely forgoing the use of systemic treatments. Sustainably grown, low-intervention/natural wine, vegan.
