The story of this new cider producer dates back to 1910 when William Soons moved to the Hudson Valley to try farming, in fact dairy farming at first. Having been raised in England, the interest in apple growing ran deep and shortly thereafter Orchard Hill Farm was born. Eventually the name was changed to Soons Orchards, but with the release of ciders, the family chose to brand them with the old name. With over 50 varieties to choose from, Orchard Hill is able to blend a cider with great character. This bone-dry can is their lowest-intervention offering, it is canned unfiltered with nothing added and nothing taken away. As advertised, it is incredibly dry and bright but drinks light, easy, and refreshing.
