The story of this new cider producer dates back to 1910 when William Soons moved to the Hudson Valley to try farming, in fact dairy farming at first. Having been raised in England, the interest in apple growing ran deep and shortly thereafter Orchard Hill Farm was born. Eventually the name was changed to Soons Orchards, but with the release of ciders, the family chose to brand them with the old name. With over 50 varieties to choose from, Orchard Hill is able to blend a cider with great character. The ‘verde’ is fresh, crisp, and refreshing with just a touch of sweetness to balance a zippy finish. It’s easy drinking and flexible, pairing well with almost any dish.
