The Pazo de Rubianes winery boasts one of the largest single parcels of land in Rías Baixas, surrounded by an internationally acclaimed botanical garden. This gorgeous property, laden with camellias (as the label indicates), sits a hop, skip, and a jump from the Atlantic Ocean, the influence of which can be felt in the clean, bright, subtly saline texture of its wines. They are in the process of converting to organic viticulture, and the hand harvested grapes are fermented with ambient yeasts in stainless steel and aged a few short months on lees. Bottling occurs with light filtration, no fining, and minimal sulfur. This albariño delivers quintessential refreshment: crisp, elegant layers of white flower, peach, and lemon dance around a palate with just a touch of weight and texture from the time on lees, before finishing with a briny minerality and touch of citrus zest. Sustainably grown, vegan.
