Rothman & Winter Orchard Apricot Liqueur

The producers at Destillerie Purkhart in Austria produce Rothman & Winter, reflecting the third generation to produce exceptional liqueurs of character and authenticity. It starts with the fruit’s own eau-de-vie and juice, for intensity of fruit flavor, bottled with a higher proof and less sugar to reinforce that intensity. The ‘Orchard Apricot’ uses Austria’s famed Klosterneuberger apricots, selecting them by hand each season from family orchards in the Danube Valley. This can be substituted for apricot brandy in any cocktail recipe, combined with sparkling wine, water, or wheat beer, or can be substituted for triple sec in a Margarita for a fun, apricot twist.
