|Vineyard/Cellar Practices||Organically Grown, Vegan|
Scribe Winery in Sonoma was founded in 2007 on a property that had been a pioneer in winemaking since before Prohibition. It is managed by fourth generation California farmers (and brothers), Andrew and Adam Mariani, with the mission of producing vibrant, terroir-driven wines. Adam and Andrew believe that the best wines come from vineyards managed in harmony with the ecosystems they co-exist in, resulting in site-specific wines that reflect a sense of time and place, where neither pesticides nor herbicides are used. Carrying this philosophy over into non-interventionist winemaking methods, the results are wines that distinctly express the vineyards they originate from. The ‘Una Lou’ is named after Andrew’s daughter, and is made with pinot noir that comes from their Leveroni, Ricci, and Scheid vineyards. This canned rosé is super bright and fresh, with notes of tart cherry, wild strawberry, white cranberry, and a squeeze of lemon, perfect for the beach, hiking, or a picnic! The can is 375ml, which is half of a bottle of wine! Sustainably grown, low-intervention/natural wine, vegan.
