Ultraviolet is made by Samantha Sheehan, named one of Food & Wine Magazine’s “15 Women to Watch in Wine” and the creator of POE Wines and Mommenpop Spirits. It is comprised of 95% cabernet sauvignon from the Red Hills AVA, east of St. Helena, grown on volcanic soils at 1500 ft in elevation, and 5% cabernet franc from the Coombsville Napa AVA. Plush, juicy dark fruit (think brambly blackberries and blueberries) are joined by a kiss of oak spice and fine tannin.
