Free Wine Tasting - Friday - Discounted 10%

This Friday, we've got some great wines for mid-summer weekends at the park, beach, or those secret Hudson Valley watering holes.
Podere La Berta Bombino Bianco Romagna Pagadebit DOC 2016
Country: ITALY / Region: EMILIA-ROMAGNA/ Appellation: ROMAGNA PAGADEBIT DOC / Varietal(s): BOMBINO BIANCO --- With over 50+ years of winemaking experience in Tuscany, the Poggiali family purchased La Berta in 2009. The vineyards and winery are situated in the town of Brisighella in their native region of Ravenna. Like their work in Tuscany, all vineyard management follows biodynamic principles, ensuring delicious, energetic fruit from healthy vines. This bombino bianco, aka pagadebit in the local Emilia-Romania dialect, is know for its light citrus, fresh herb and mineral flavors. The name "pagadebit" comes from the fact that the grape is a reliable grower even in bad vintages, so therefore grape growers could use it to "pay their debts". This is a great wine for the everyday table. Pour alongside a beautiful grilled branzino with lemon and parsley.

North Fork Project Rosé North Fork of Long Island 2017 (1L)
Country: USA / Region: NEW YORK / Appellation: NORTH FORK OF LONG ISLAND/ Varietal(s): MERLOT+CABERNET FRANC+CABERNET SAUVIGNON --- North Fork Project Rosé is a collaborative effort between Long Island wine trailblazers Bob and Joyce Pellegrini and New York-based importer and distributor Martin Scott. Their mission is to source local, sustainably produced wine at an affordable price. This 1 liter bottle of North Fork rosé refreshes with zesty lemon and fresh strawberry and raspberry aromas backed by nice tension on the palate. Recommended with burgers, sausages, and a beach chair.

Alloy Wine Works Pinot Noir Central Coast NV (375ml Can)
Country: USA/ Region: CALIFORNIA / Appellation: CENTRAL COAST / Varietal(s): PINOT NOIR --- The mastermind behind Field Recordings (we've featured both their red and white "Fiction" cuvées), 35-year-old Andrew Jones, seems to have a keen eye to finding diamond-in-the-rough parcels with untapped potential in California’s Central Coast. He spends his days planning and planting vineyards for farmers all over the region and, in return, is sometimes gifted small allocations of the finest fruit the vines can offer for his efforts. Given his background, there’s no question as to why he produces such soulful and delicious wines. Alloy Wine Works is the combination of innovation and rustic charm that blend grapes from the most unique and unexpected spots, resulting in a truly Californian wine in a unique package. This pinot noir is packed with ripe cherry and raspberry with underlying tones of vanilla, cracked pepper and cola. Look no further for a juicy, yet sophisticated summer sipper that can accompany you wherever the day leads, whether picnicking, camping, boating, hiking! Keep a few in the cooler for any weekend hang - and don't let the can fool you - there's a half bottle in that compact package!
