Winemaking couple Brendan and Laura Carter founded Unico Zelo as a new venture in the Adelaide Hills with the mission of producing Australian versions of Italian and Mediterranean varieties in an approachable and delicious fashion. Fiano is an ancient grape varietal grown originally in Campagnia, Italy, but as this new wine proves, it can thrive just as well at the other end of the world! Fruit for this cuvée comes from the ancient, sand limestone soils on the Ricca Terra Farm in the Riverland, a pristine, desert-like environment, among the harshest climates in Australia. At once crisp and elegant, aromatic and textured, this offers up notes of lemon blossom, Granny Smith apple, lemongrass, grapefruit pith, and brushed steel. A beautifully textured palate and crackling acidity make this a refreshing alternative to pinot grigio. Fabulous with all sorts of seafood: think seared scallops or pan fried smelt. Vegan-friendly.

This small homestead farm dates back to the early 1800s and is located in Wurtsboro, NY, in neighboring Sullivan County. Aaron Burr's name was on the original deed of the home, and a rebellious energy pulses through everything made by Andy Brennan and Polly Giragosian. Dedicated to making "true cider", once the most popular drink in America, their main source of apples are those that they forage themselves around the Hudson Valley and Lower Catskills. This Appinette cider is a blend of traminette grapes from the Finger Lakes with apples from Orange County, making this a complex and delicious blend of NY flavors! Cloudy amber in color, sharp and dry, this has creamy carbonation and focused apple character with aromas of grapefruit, litchi, and rose petals and a soft, lightly bitter finish. Grab a charcuterie and cheese plate and put your feet up!

They began producing natural wines in 2013. Prior to that, they used to sell their organically farmed grapes to the local coop, but now use all of their grapes to make their own wines. They also grow peaches, vegetables, and lavender, adding to the biodiversity on the estate. Domaine Ozil is certified organic by Bureau Veritas, and the brothers vinify their wines without any added sulfur. ‘Barry’ is comprised of 80% grenache noir, 10% syrah and 10% grenache blanc and is loaded with crunchy, juicy red fruit flavors with a touch of sauvage. Delightfully chuggable with a slight chill! Certified organic, low-intervention, vegan.
