Dolcetto is best known as a mainstay in Italy’s Piedmont region, but like many Italian grape varietals, it thrives in Australia’s challenging climate as well. This dolcetto comes from Langhorne Creek in South Australia, and is harvested slightly early for maximum freshness. Grapes are foot trodden, fermented with wild yeasts for approximately two weeks, then pressed to old oak barrels for an additional six months. Bottling occurs with no fining or filtration. As the name suggests, Vinteloper’s ‘Park Wine’ is made for casual, al fresco quaffing! Light, lively, and lower in alcohol than many red wines (only 10.5 ABV), this is super fresh and fruitful. Think pumped-up Beaujolais, with juicy flavors of tart red cherry and strawberry. Totally savory and chuggable - especially lightly chilled! Organically grown, low-intervention/natural wine, vegan.
