|Vineyard/Cellar Practices||Sustainably Grown, Vegan|
Winemaker Stephen Attman describes his approach to winemaking as “not doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.” Others have described his approach as nearly obsessive, referring to his meticulous farming of some of the best sites in Deidesheim and Forst, as well as his attention to detail in the cellar. This rosé is made from 100% pinot noir (also known as spätburgunder) planted on a mix of sites in Diedesheim and Rupertsberg.Vines average 25 years of age, and are sustainably farmed on a variety of soils including red sandstone, limestone, and clay. The wine sees minimal human intervention in the cellar. Lean, clean, and a touch earthy, this provides bright red cherry flavors, great cut and precision, a hint of classic spätburgunder smokiness, and a subtly savory, spicy finish. A fantastically refreshing food wine! Sustainably grown, vegan.
