Weingut Walter Glatzer Rosé Carnuntum DAC 2021

The Glatzer family’s wines celebrate the long history of winemaking in the area of the Roman city of Carnuntum. The forested region’s unique placement, between the Danube and the Pannonian Plain, creates wide temperature shifts ideal for creating crisp, fresh-tasting wines. This rosé of Saint Laurent, blaufränkisch, and zweigelt, produced in the saignée method (which leads to rosés with a greater concentration of flavor), fermented in stainless steel. Lemon-lime brightness, and just a touch of spritz, lead to strawberry and currants on the palate. Certified organic.
