Artisan Wine Shop x Kings County Distillery   

This Friday, we're welcoming Kings County Distillery into the shop to show off their line of spirits that are mashed, fermented, and distilled in Brooklyn. Focused exclusively on whiskeys, Kings County was first located in a teeny tiny 325 square-foot room in East Williamsburg, beginning their story as the smallest commercial distillery in the country. After making whiskeys with just five 24-liter stainless steel stills everyday for 16 hours a day, they figured it was time to expand the operation. In 2012, the distillery moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, in the historic Paymaster Building just a stone's throw from the site of the Brooklyn Whiskey Wars of the 1860s. 

Come on by the shop from 4-7 and sample their award winning bourbons. We'll have the Straight Bourbon, Spiced Whiskey, and Peated Bourbon ready to pour. Emily also made up some cocktails but thinks she forgot one of the recipes so we'll see what she ends up serving.
