September 15, 2023 | We're going all in on Alsace

Just across the Rhine River from Germany, running 75 miles along the north-south spine of the Vosges Mountains in northeastern France, Alsace is one of our favorite wine regions.

Why?

With a semi-continental climate, it's steeped in sunshine (around 1800 hours per year!), and has a kaleidoscope of vineyard slopes and soil types (13 different kinds, more than any other place in France!) that yield a treasure trove of aromatic, characterful and all-out delicious bottlings.

It also has an incredible number of organic and biodynamic producers.
Though it accounts for less than 5% of the France’s vineyard acreage, Alsace represents almost 13% of the country's certified biodynamic vineyards.

Today (Friday 9.15!), we're opening three expressions we especially enjoy. Join us?
