MORE ON THIS WINE

Robert Eden emigrated to France from England over 20 years ago with the dream of crafting terroir-driven wines. His firm belief is that wines are “grown” rather than “made,” and to that end, Château Maris practices both organic and biodynamic viticulture and has been a certified B Corp since 2016. Maris boasts the world’s only wine cellar made from hemp bricks, an environmentally friendly building which is completely biodegradable. Now, they farm a 79-acre estate divided into a multitude of small vineyards on the hillside above the village of La Livinière, the first Cru Classé of the Minervois. This rosé of grenache and syrah offers a fun and refreshing strawberry fruitiness over a nice grounding of minerality.
