MORE ON THIS WINE
Domaine Daulny encompasses 15 hectares of sustainably grown grapes just outside of Chaudenay, in the Loire Valley. This cuvée is made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on clay-limestone soils across 20+ different sites throughout the appellation of Sancerre, including a steep plot in “Les Monts Damnés” in Chavignol and a parcel of 70 year old vines in “Les Bois Butteaux” in Verdigny. Grapes are hand harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, then aged a further 6-10 months, also in stainless. Energized and fresh with an elegant finish. Notes of zesty lime, green apple, white blossom, and a chalky minerality make this a wine you’ll keep reaching for over and over.
