Graft Ciders, located just across the river from our shop in the city of Newburgh, was founded by siblings Kyle and Sarah Sherrer. Their dream is to "bring sour cider to the masses", paying respect to old-world styles of cider making while simultaneously experimenting with modern brewing techniques. All of their ciders employ century-old European traditions, using only indigenous yeast and bacteria to ferment to dryness. The ‘Farm Flor’ is a rustic table cider that is tart and earthy, a blend of wild yeast fermented cider and tart, farmhouse barrel aged cider. It’s bright and funky, like a perfect melding of cider and sour beer.
