LunaGaia 'Maganza' Zibibbo Terre Siciliane IGT 2023

From the largest biodynamic producer in Italy, LunaGaia wines are the result of a partnership between the Cantina Orsogna cooperative and BioGaia, a Sicilian farmer collective. The unique wine labels refer to the existence of families of puppeteers in Sicily who have been handing down their rich histories through the art of marionette theater, a tradition that dates back to the late 1800s. Specifically, the labels are an homage to L’Opera dei Pupi Siciliana and the story of the Italian epic ‘Orlando Furioso’ by Ludovico Ariosto. Composed solely of zibibbo, aka muscat of Alexandria, ‘Maganza’ offers mesmerizing aromatics of orange blossom and honeysuckle. A generous palate elegantly weaves succulent apricot with savory Mediterranean herbs. A touch of nuttiness and raw honeycomb adds subtle richness and depth.
