Vineyard/Cellar Practices | Certified Organic, Certified Biodynamic, Sustainably Grown |
Carmine Mancini’s winemaking project aims to breathe new life into neglected or abandoned vineyards in Abruzzo. In the process, the Marchese Migliorati team converts the properties they work with to organic and biodynamic farming practices, growing only varieties indigenous to their part of Italy. The pecorino vines for this wine grow on clay soils on a hillside facing southeast. After manual harvesting, the wine ages for at least three months in stainless steel. Herbal and citrusy on the nose, it's medium in weight and textural, yet relaxed. On the palate, expect salty nectarine and fleshy, fresh orchard fruits matched with bright citrus undertones. Certified organic, certified biodynamic, sustainably grown.
