Martin Texier began making wine in 2014, after a circuitous journey through various disciplines including the study of economics and a stint in the music world as a DJ (“DJ Sans Soufre”). Following time spent learning the wine trade in NYC through internships at Flatiron Wines and Uva Wines, he returned home to follow in the footsteps of his father, renowned northern Rhône natural winemaker, Eric Texier. This delectable white wine comes from organically farmed younger roussanne vines planted in the cooler, limestone-rich area of Brézème. Fermented whole cluster with native yeasts, the wine is aged on lees in concrete with no stirring, and minimal sulfur added at bottling. The result: aromatic, textured, and rich! Certified organic, low-intervention/natural wine.
