The Piedmont region of northwest Italy is justifiably famous for its nebbiolo-based Barolos and Barbarescos, but the lesser-known native grignolino grape makes a light, fresh red wine perfect for everyday refreshment. 'Lino' is 100% grignolino from organically farmed 5 year old vines, and is fermented and matured in stainless steel, and lightly filtered before bottling without fining and with minimal sulfur. The result is a juicy, chillable, totally refreshing red bursting with bright cranberry and pomegranate notes. Perfect for washing down a variety of cuisines - particularly good with salty, fatty dishes (fried veggies, fish and chips, or that BLT?). Organically grown, low-intervention/natural wine, vegan.
