The cidery and tasting room of Wayside Cider is located in an old barn in the historic Catskills town of Andes, with their orchard and nursery at High Meadows Farm, in East Delhi. For over a decade, they’ve focused on painstakingly handcrafting a blend of wild, heirloom, and dessert apples into ciders that are a unique expression of Delaware County. ‘Skinny Dip’ is made almost entirely from slow-fermented dessert apples from the Hudson Valley, accented with a bit of quince to lend zesty acidity and subtle fruit undertones. This lightly sparkling bottling is bright, bracing, and clean, with hints of apple, pear, and wet rocks: a versatile, refreshing quaff!
