MORE ON THIS WINE

Located practically in our own backyard, Whitecliff Vineyard in Gardiner, NY produces a highly respected and diverse portfolio of fine wines. Founded in 1979 by husband-and-wife team Michael Migliore and Yancey Stanforth-Migliore, Whitecliff Vineyard has been one of the leading voices in the Hudson Valley for winemaking. Michael has lived on the property since 1975; he studied organic chemistry at SUNY New Paltz and worked for IBM as a chemical engineer; soon after, he began experimenting with grape growing. They now have one of the largest vineyards in the Hudson Valley, with over 20 varietals planted. The “Awosting White” is their most popular wine year-round, and it consists of 70% vignoles and 30% seyval blanc, the classic grape of the Hudson Valley. It is very fruitful but still dry, zesty, and refreshing, with notes of citrus and apricot. Sustainably grown, vegan.
