For Being In Communion

We can't help but notice a pattern of gathering. The birds are chatting confidently and excitedly together, the trees are budding in unison, flowers are blooming, and the streets are full of people walking and marveling at the world opening up before us. This weekend, we imagine folks will be coming together in communion, celebrating and basking in each other's presence and warmth. As such, we're opening up some special bottles that we think are perfect for the upcoming festivities. From a sparkling rosé poised to be the perfect aperitif, to an elegantly off-dry gewürztraminer that pairs perfectly with glazed ham, followed by a fruit-forward gamay aching for lamb or mushrooms, and finally finishing with a Bordeaux any Dad will love.

At times when this world feels uncertain or perhaps even committed to despair, it's important to poise our faces to the light. And more often than we realize, that's each other. Community is a powerful antidote, and wine has historically been a revered accompaniment to kinship. Every bottle tastes its best when consumed within a container of love and togetherness. Or at least we think so.
