A Trip to Spain

Good morning!

This week, our fierce leader Tim is traveling throughout Spain. And we are so  ̶j̶e̶a̶l̶o̶u̶s̶ ̶ excited to hear all about it when he returns! Taking inspiration from his journeys, we decided to pull three bottles of Spanish wines - un blanco, un rosado (okay, so this one is from Washington state, BUT it is a grape usually only found in Spain!) , y un tinto. This range highlights the versatility of lesser known Spanish grapes and reaches beyond the reputation of Rioja. Let us explore the native grapes of  a country whose winemaking history dates back to antiquity and toast to Tim's safe travels! Hopefully he'll return with bottles to help us expand this conversation (Tim, if you're reading this, please bring us back a treat).

Hasta luego!

The Lineup: Benito Santos 'Igrexario de Saiar' Albariño Rías Baixas DO 2024; Sage Rat 'Roza' Rosé of Graciano Naches Heights AVA 2023; Baldovar 923 'Cerro Negro' Mencía València DO 2021

Read on to learn more about what we're sampling, then stop by on Friday from 4-7pm to try them yourself!
