It's no exaggeration to say that we wouldn't be the shop we are without the people who have worked and do work here. Sam Lozoff, one of our longest-tenured former staffers, whose contributions were great and many, is leaving Beacon (and New York) soon, much to our chagrin! Many of you have had the pleasure of knowing Sam while he was with us in years not-so-long-ago; if you're around today – Friday, 10/6 – here's a chance to catch up with him before he moves on – and taste some delicious wines he'll be pouring from Field Blend Selections.
